Guiding Principles

At Merlia, our mission is to empower individuals and collectives to awaken to their creative power in the midst of change.   

We believe that true transformation can only occur from the inside out, and is facilitated by these key conditions:

  • A willingness to engage 
  • An expanded awareness of who we are and what is possible
  • The courage to take that leap into the unknown and discover the possibilities that await us  

One of our key guiding assumptions is that each individual has the innate wisdom and capacity to heal themselves and to create a life that is an authentic reflection of their unique potential.  

Since organizations are a collective of individuals that come together for a common purpose, the same assumption applies.   With that in mind, our intention to engage in a process with collectives to create the conditions whereby new possibilities can come to fruition.  

We believe that effective transformation can only occur by engaging the people that form the collective.  The conditions can then be created for the process of change to unfold from within.  This in turn translates to tangible and meaningful results.  

Through conversations using frameworks to expand perspective, processes to engage from that expanded state, and support in the process of evolution, individuals and collectives are continuously engaged in creating lives and organizations that are a true reflection of their unfolding potential.

  • Change and movement is imperative to all living organisms and collectives in order to shift from survival strategies to being fully engaged in the creation of their lives moment to moment.

  • Fostering leadership, engagement and creativity at all levels is essential  for an collective to flourish

  • Groups and organizations are collectives of individuals coming together for a purpose

  • Recognizes and engages individuals and groups holistically (mentally, emotionally, spiritually and physically)

  • Supports individuals and collectives in becoming self-sufficient in their process of evolution

  • Trust and confidentiality are the foundation of a successful co-creative relationship with our clients
